Standing With You Against cybercrime

RightsLine helped a complainant recover 3.15 lakhs in an APK fraud. The victim was tricked into downloading an APK file by claiming that it was an application to clear unpaid gas bills. After the victim downloaded the app, the criminal gained access to their phone, and stole 3.15 Lakh from the victim's bank account. We helped file a cybercrime complaint, approach the bank, and coordinate with law enforcement.

RightsLine helped a YouTuber recover their YouTube channel which was their sole means of income, which was subjected to multiple copyright strikes. We argued that the content posted by the YouTuber fell squarely under the Fair Use exemption, and successfully recovered both the account, as well as pending ad revenue.

RightsLine helped a user whose account was compromised after she unknowingly clicked on a phishing link. The attackers quickly changed the registered email address, locked her out of the account, and eventually, the account itself was suspended. She was unable to regain access through the platform's official channels. We helped file a GAC appeal which eventually resulted in the recovery of the account.
